Since opening the doors in 2010, we’ve shaken’ and stirred a few cocktails, learned how to architecturally landscape a lawn, delivered frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving dinners, crafted the perfect Spanish paella, became friends with the City’s mounted patrol police unit), held many an umbrella for VIP’s at rain-soaked events, and can now do the best downward dog in town. Jenny Kincaid Julian
Founder & President
Jenny is a fierce competitor with more than 15 years experience working with a range of clients and their many needs. Her vast career in public relations and targeted media relations, sales, marketing, advertising, corporate communications, brand development, community outreach and social networking has garnered her strategic partnerships with businesses throughout the Midwest. Jenny is a high-level media relations professional who has been able to turn social networking into a viable business model directly impacting the clients bottom line. Reflecting on her business acumen, she was named one of KC Business Magazine’s Rising Stars 2012. Recently she was a Kansas City Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” and a “2017 NextGen” nominee. Jenny was also identified as one of the Top 10 Public Relations Professionals to follow in 2017 by Gini Dietrich, founder and CEO of Arment Dietrich, and author of Spin Sucks, the #1 PR blog in the world.
Jenny’s personal experience in business ownership (before launching Socialworx PR in 2010, she opened a women’s boutique in 2003) provides her a unique perspective for her clients’ success. Jenny is also heavily involved with several not-for-profit organizations throughout the Kansas City area.
Elaine is a culinary-focused communication expert. Her strategic thinking, deep relationships, project management skills and attention to detail ensure flawless execution and results. Bringing more than a decade of experience, Elaine has worked on all sides of the food industry. Elaine has led fully integrated PR programs for national brands, driven demand for commodity foods and gained strategic know-how from supporting some of the biggest names in the food industry. In 2016, Elaine started her own consulting practice to focus on her passion for commodity boards and good-for-you brands.
Elaine helps clients meet their marketing objectives by providing strategic and creative program planning, copywriting/content creation, media relations, event marketing and more. Energetic, self-starting, efficient and approachable, Elaine quickly becomes a relied-upon extension of her clients’ internal teams. Elaine holds a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University and is a certified nutrition educator.
Tayler is a go-getter with a can-do attitude, perfect for her fast-paced role as Account Coordinator. Tayler’s unique ability to generate opportunities for each of our clients has helped secure partnerships and lead to new relationships with key media and influencers. Tayler helps seeking new opportunities to creatively propel our clients to the forefront of the media. When she’s not researching or plotting our next PR stunt, you’ll find her overseeing influencer outreach and blogger relations, including organizing events and liaising with key figures.
Not only acting as the company liaison to clients, Tayler keeps the team organized as she’s the master calendar keeper, organizes weekly call agendas and notes thereafter, and assists with monthly reports, VIP guest lists, short and long leads and creating industry-specific content.
Her role is limited to just media as she generates content for multiple social media outlets. You’ll often find her online creating eye-catching graphics for clients, sourcing quotes or laying out a mood for an Instagram account.
Tayler is from the Kansas City area and enjoys finding the city’s most creative graffiti artists’ artwork on buildings throughout the city.
